Plating Technician

**# Key Responsibilities**
- Set up and operate electroplating equipment for gold plating on silver jewelry
- Prepare and clean jewelry pieces for plating
- Mix and maintain plating solutions
- Monitor and control plating processes to ensure high-quality finishes
- Troubleshoot plating issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines

**# Requirements**
- At least 5 years of experience in gold plating on silver jewelry
- Strong understanding of electroplating processes and techniques
- Experience with setting up and operating electroplating equipment
- Knowledge of plating solution chemistry and maintenance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication and teamwork skills

**# Preferred Qualifications**
- Formal training or certification in electroplating or a related field
- Experience with other types of plating (e.g. silver, copper, rhodium)
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes and techniques
