Graphic Design Intern

Role: Graphics Designer
Industry Type: E-Learning / EdTech

Job description:
Responsibilities Include:

- Designing specific graphics based on the written/raw content provided by the stakeholders
- Communicating between teams and management of deliverables with a sensitivity for detail and timelines.

Desired Attributes:

- Passion and ability to design graphic content specifically for internal communication & social media
- Ability to think outside of the box, be able to work creatively within boundaries
- Ability to clearly communicate a message visually
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic as per the brand guidelines
- Work with various stakeholders to produce final design
- Ensure optimal image resolution, Test graphics across various media
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Create reusable design templates that are easy to edit/reproduce by non-designers

Desired Skills:

- Outstanding designing skills, i.e., the ability to turn worded description into a compelling graphic design
- The motivation and learning mindset necessary to stay on top of the latest digital graphic tools and trends
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
- Experience in creating PowerPoint presentations
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills, Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
