**1. Plan and Execute Paid Campaigns**
- Platforms: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, LinkedIn, Amazon, etc.
- Formats: Search ads, display ads, video ads, shopping ads, remarketing, etc.

**2. Target the Right Audiences**
- Use data to define and segment customer groups
- Set up custom audiences, lookalike audiences, retargeting

**3. Optimize Campaigns Daily**
- Track CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS
- A/B test ad creatives, copy, landing pages
- Adjust budgets and bids based on performance

**4. Track Performance Metrics**
- Set up and monitor KPIs using tools like:

- Google Analytics
- Meta Ads Manager

**5. Work with Content, Design & Sales Teams**
- Align creative with conversion goals
- Ensure landing pages and CTAs are optimized

Skills Required for Performance Marketing
Technical & Analytical
- Google Ads & Facebook Ads Manager (deep knowledge)
- Google Analytics & GA4
- Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas)
- Tag Manager, UTM tracking, conversion pixels
- Basic understanding of SEO & website behavior

Strategic Thinking
- Funnel understanding (TOFU-MOFU-BOFU)
- ROI-focused decision-making
- Budget allocation strategy

**Creative Collaboration**
- Writing ad copy that converts
- Working with designers to test visuals
- Understanding user behaviour and psychology

Communication
- Clear reporting and storytelling with data
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Vendor and agency coordination
