**Researcher / Principal Researcher - Iron Making (Blast Furnace)**

**Location**: Jamshedpur

**Minimum Qualification**: B Tech/ B E + M Tech/ MS/ ME/PhD - **Branch**: Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Energy, Production, Environment

**Minimum Experience**: 3-12 yrs (experience in blast furnace and alternate ironmaking areas, Conversant with Heat and Mass balance of blast furnace, slag thermodynamics relevant for Iron making processes, Pyrometallurgical experiments, Conversant with python and Microsoft excel)

Key Responsibilities:

- Bring-in improvement in terms of productivity, cost, CO2 foot print in different iron making processes
- Carry out experimental and computational research to develop process simulation and control models for iron making through blast furnace or other iron making processes
- Performing plant trials to generate data, demonstrate research findings etc
- Involve in lab and pilot scale experimental facilities development, conduct experiments in lab scale
- Understanding the problems, analysis of the problem using mathematical/experimental models, proposing solution
- In depth analysis of the existing process, idea generation, experimentation at different scales

**Salary**: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
