Position: Tax and Accounting Associate

Location: Bangalore, India

**Responsibilities**:
Assist in the preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns for clients in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date advice for clients.

Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance including deduction, deposit, and filing of returns.

Manage professional tax compliance for clients as per state regulations.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, and other accounting documents.

Support senior staff in client meetings, audits, and other tax-related activities.

Stay updated with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
1-3 years of experience in direct and indirect taxation, TDS, professional tax, and accounting.

Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, including Income Tax Act, GST, and other relevant statutes.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
