**Job Summary**:The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment in all hospital areas, ensuring high levels of cleanliness and hygiene, which is essential for medical settings. **Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Cleanliness & Sanitation Clean rooms, wards, waiting areas, offices, hallways, and public areas.
- Mop, sweep, and vacuum floors.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Empty and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Replace toiletries and bathroom items.
- Change bed linens and make beds.
- Clean rooms, wards, waiting areas, offices, hallways, and public areas.
- Mop, sweep, and vacuum floors.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Empty and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Replace toiletries and bathroom items.
- Change bed linens and make beds.

**Infection Control **Disinfect surfaces to prevent the spread of germs.
Ensure that all cleaning materials are stored correctly and used in a safe manner.
Familiarize oneself with and adhere to hospital protocols regarding the use of disinfectants and cleaners.

**Equipment & Supplies Management **Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and order more as needed.
Inform the management of any repairs or replacements needed.

**Safety & Compliance **Ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
Report any safety or maintenance concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Use protective equipment provided by the hospital.

**Customer Service **Respond courteously to requests from patients, visitors, and staff.
Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.

**Teamwork & Coordination **Work cooperatively with the rest of the housekeeping team and hospital staff.
Attend mandatory trainings and meetings as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a Hotel, hospital or healthcare facility.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
- Good physical health and stamina.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good communication skills.
