**Job overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Environment Design**: Create detailed, visually appealing background art for animated projects, ensuring the design enhances the narrative, mood, and atmosphere of each scene.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the animation team and directors to align with the artistic vision and style guide of the project, making revisions as necessary to ensure the final backgrounds are in line with the project’s goals.
- **Scene Composition**: Design and implement background layouts, perspective, and depth to ensure environments are engaging and visually harmonious with characters and other elements.
- **Research & Inspiration**: Draw inspiration from real-world references, concept art, or other resources to create innovative and fresh background designs that resonate with the intended audience.
- **Consistency & Quality Control**: Ensure all background art adheres to production deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency throughout the project.
- **Technical Skills**: Use industry-standard tools (e.g., Photoshop, Procreate, or similar) to create, adjust, and deliver digital backgrounds in the required formats for animation.

**Requirements**:

- 3-6 years of experience as a BG Artist or in a similar role within the animation industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of background designs, with a focus on environments that support animation and storytelling.
- A solid understanding of color theory, lighting, composition, and how these elements impact the mood and atmosphere of a scene.
- Proficiency with digital painting tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Up, illustrator, Animate or other industry-standard software.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, with excellent time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- A passion for animation and an eagerness to contribute creatively to dynamic projects.

**Job Type**:Full time

Schedule: Day shift.

Ability to commute / Relocate.
- Trivandrum, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Expected Start Date: Immediate Joining.
