About Us:
Hello Teacher Academy is a global online tutoring platform delivering high-quality, one-on-one lessons to students across multiple curricula. We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Tutor with a strong background in IGCSE English Language and Literature to join our team. Our focus is on delivering results-driven, engaging lessons tailored to each student’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and interactive online lessons for Cambridge IGCSE English Language (0500/0990) and English Literature (0475).
- Prepare students for internal school exams and final IGCSE assessments with a strong emphasis on past papers, mark schemes, and examiner expectations.
- Develop personalised lesson plans, worksheets, and activities to strengthen comprehension, analysis, and writing skills.
- Provide constructive feedback on assignments and practice papers.
- Monitor student progress, maintain detailed records, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
- Use online teaching tools effectively to create an interactive learning environment.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching IGCSE English Language and/or Literature (Cambridge or Edexcel).
- Strong knowledge of the IGCSE syllabus structure, assessment objectives, and marking criteria.
- Proven ability to improve student performance and exam confidence.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to create engaging, student-focused lesson content.
- Reliable internet connection and proficiency in online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with differentiated instruction for varied student abilities.
- Familiarity with creative methods to develop literary analysis and critical thinking.
- Experience in mentoring students for top grades (A/A*).
