**Position reporting**:Presently reporting to Vice President - Accounts & Finance

**Roles & Responsivities**:
The Legal Officer will provide comprehensive legal support for the company’s legal requirements including corporate law, contract drafting, real estate laws, and litigation needs. This role involves advising on legal matters, drafting and reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and managing disputes that may arise in the course of business operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Ø Monitor and ensure compliance by the company (and its affiliates) with all relevant laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.

Ø Advise on corporate governance matters, compliance with regulations, and corporate

structure.

Ø Stay updated with changes in law especially real estate laws and regulations and communicate their impact on the organization.

Ø Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, joint ventures, service agreements, loan agreements and partnerships.

Ø Ensure that all contracts and agreements comply with legal standards and company policies

and minimize legal risks.

Ø Collaborate with external legal counsel, if required.

Ø Manage and oversee all legal disputes and litigation matters involving the company.

Ø Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary and represent the company's interests in legal proceedings.

Ø Conduct due diligence, including title searches, land records, and property assessments.

Ø Assess potential legal risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.

Ø Assist in obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and approvals for real estate projects and developments.

Ø Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies as required.

Ø Provide legal guidance and support to various departments within the organization, including sales, marketing, and finance.

Ø Offer legal interpretations and advice on complex legal issues with specific focus on real estate issues.

Ø Assistance in employment related issues / employment laws.

Ø Contribute to the development of internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices in the real estate industry.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of Indian real estate laws, property rights, land acquisition, and property development regulations.
- Strong expertise in drafting agreements, contracts, deeds, and other legal documents.
- Excellent communication skills for effective liaison work with clients and stakeholders.

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
