**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Nurse to join our preschool team, responsible for providing health care and medical support to children aged 1.5 to 6 years. The Nurse will ensure the well-being of children by managing minor illnesses, injuries, administering first aid, and maintaining health records. This role involves close collaboration with parents, teachers, and support staff to promote a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide routine health care to preschool children, including basic first aid, treatment of minor injuries, and administration of medications as needed.
- Monitor children for signs of illness, injury, or distress, and provide appropriate care or refer to external medical professionals when necessary.
- Maintain detailed medical records for each child, including immunization records, allergies, medications, and health concerns.
- Conduct regular health checks and screenings for early detection of potential health issues.
- Administer prescribed medications according to the school's policy and parental consent.
- Collaborate with teachers to promote health education and implement hygiene practices (e.g., handwashing, personal care, etc.).
- Maintain and monitor first aid kits, medical supplies, and ensure proper storage and usage of medical equipment.
- Respond to health emergencies and provide appropriate first aid until the child can be referred to a doctor or hospital.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s health, any incidents at school, and follow-up care when necessary.
- Develop and enforce health and safety policies in collaboration with the school administration.
- Support the implementation of preventive measures, such as vaccinations and regular health check-ups.
- Educate and train staff on health-related matters such as first aid, emergency procedures, and communicable disease prevention.
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy when handling sensitive health information.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Nurse (RN) or a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license in [Bangalore ].
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or daycare setting.
- Knowledge of pediatric health, development, and common childhood illnesses.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and external healthcare providers.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of young children.
