Job Vacancy: Book-keeper at Palghar
Grameen First Foundation is seeking a Book-keeper to join our team
**Position**: Book-Keeper
**Location**: 106, A-2, Phase 1 - VBHC, Abacha pada, Devkhop Village
Palghar - Manor Road. Palghar East
**Type**: Full Time for 6 months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 4.30 pm) & Saturday: 8.30 am to 1.00 pm (Work from home)
**Requirements**:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
**Responsibilities**:
- The digital entry of all expense vouchers and bills
- Communicate with staff and vendors to ensure timely payments
- Manage accounts payable (bill payments, salaries, petty cash, etc.) and receivables through cash/cheque/voucher on time.
- Coordinate and follow up with the Manager to ensure that all payments are prepared and completed promptly and on time
- Generate bills for income-generating projects
- Follow up on payments received
- Maintain accounts files
- Checking with the Manager to ensure that writing out vouchers are prepared for payments pending and completed
- Record and ensure donations receipts are prepared and issued by the Management.
- Maintaining a list of donations received and receipts sent.
