**Job Description: PGT Geography**

**TeacherPosition**: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Geography

**Location**: RK International School, Meerut

**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach classes XI and XII, ensuring clarity of concepts and examination readiness.
- Design lesson plans, teaching aids, and interactive classroom activities.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate students’ progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for ICSE/ISC board examinations with focus on map work, diagrams, and analytical skills.
- Encourage students’ curiosity about environmental, social, and global issues.
- Organize field visits, projects, and experiential learning opportunities related to geography.
- Maintain student records, academic performance reports, and participation logs.
- Participate in school events, competitions, and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to improve teaching-learning practices.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Strong knowledge of physical, human, and economic geography.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to use maps, globes, models, and digital teaching aids effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate senior students.
- Good command over English (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and ICT tools.

**Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in Geography.
- B.Ed. (mandatory as per CISCE norms).

**Compensation**
- Salary as per school norms, based on qualifications and experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
