Job Overview:
As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive travel solutions, managing trips, managing inbound and outbound travel inquiries, and facilitating events ticket sales. Your role extends to content management and efficient trip planning to ensure a seamless and delightful travel experience for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inbound and Outbound Travel:
- Respond to client inquiries regarding travel destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
- Design and organize travel itineraries for individuals, groups, and corporate clients.
- Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and industry developments.
2. Events Ticket Sales:
- Handle ticket sales for various events, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the booking process.
- Collaborate with event organizers to secure group bookings and special packages.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries related to event tickets.
3. Content Management:
- Develop and maintain engaging and informative content for the company's website and promotional materials.
- Create compelling descriptions of travel destinations, services, and special offers.
- Regularly update online platforms with fresh content and promotional materials.
4. Trip Management:
- Coordinate all aspects of travel, including flights, accommodation, transportation, and activities.
- Resolve any travel-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure a high standard of service.
5. Client Interaction:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
- Understand clients' preferences and requirements to tailor travel solutions accordingly.
- Provide personalized recommendations and advice based on clients' needs.
6. Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Achieve sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling of travel-related services.
- Identify opportunities for revenue generation and new business development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field if not than relevant expereince.
- Proven experience as a Travel Consultant, Sales or in a similar role or wanting to learn it.
- Intrests in Travel And Event Industry And If needed can lead or volunteer a group tour, logistics or musical events.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in day to day travel portals and booking platforms.
- Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
