**The Role**
- As a key individual contributor, you will be responsible for defining security architecture requirements around Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence but also to provide guidance and consulting including compliance and technical security measures to internal SAP teams in all Board Areas.
- Provide thought leadership on security architecture blueprints, consult as a trusted advisor, and drive continuous improvement within SAP’s business units.
- Assist in developing architectural strategies, roadmaps, and progress reports especially around securing Artificial Intelligence.
- Understand and navigate complex scenarios with the goal of increasing the security posture of SAP.

**What you bring**

As an applicant with a strong cyber security mindset, you should be a team-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated critical thinker. You must collaborate effectively over organizational boundaries and amid virtual teams. Key skills include challenging complex issues, fostering teamwork, swiftly understanding business aspects, and taking ownership of tasks.
- Graduate in Computer Science, IT Security, or related field with equivalent Security Certifications like CISSP, CCSP or GIAC being a plus.
- 6+ years in an information security technology or IT architecture role.
- Advanced knowledge of cyber security concepts and knowledge of cloud security technologies (e.g. CASB, CSPM, Container, etc.) and services such as SaaS, PaaS, MS Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Must have proven experience in providing security architecture guidance, with the area of Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning being a plus.
- Experience in SAP’s technology platforms and/or products and underlying security concepts is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skill in English

The Defensive Architecture Team acts as the trusted partner & advisor for IT and data security matters and manages the SAP Cybersecurity Architecture Framework, maintains security hardening specifications and provides Cyber Security architecture consulting and advisory services to deliver secure cloud services to our customers.
