A freight broker's job is to act as a liaison between shippers and carriers to arrange the transportation of goods:

- **Match shippers with carriers**: Assess the shipper's needs, such as delivery timelines, budget, and type of goods, and find a carrier that can meet those needs.
- **Negotiate rates**: Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to get the best price for both the shipper and the carrier.
- **Arrange transportation**: Book freight services with carriers on behalf of the shipper.
- **Coordinate pickup and drop off**: Coordinate the pickup and drop off of shipments.
- **Manage schedules**: Work with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage schedules.
- **Handle documentation**: Prepare and manage documentation, such as bills of lading, shipping manifests, and insurance certificates.
- **Track and communicate**: Use tracking technology and communication tools to monitor shipments and provide updates to shippers and carriers.
- **Address issues**: Address any issues or concerns that may arise during the shipping process.
- **Advise clients**: Advise clients on potential supply chain issues.

Pay: ₹14,875.91 - ₹100,000.26 per month
