Covermatch is a fast-growing **Insurtech platform** providing digital insurance comparison in UAE. We work with leading insurance companies and focus on innovation, transparency, and exceptional client service.

We are expanding our **Underwriting & Operations Team** in Kochi and are hiring a **Junior Underwriter** to support our insurance processing and risk evaluation functions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review and assess **insurance proposals** for Motor, Health, and General Insurance.
- Analyze **risk factors** and supporting documents to assist in accurate underwriting decisions.
- Coordinate with **insurance companies, sales teams, and processing executives** for quotations and approvals.
- Support in **policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and related documentation**.
- Maintain accurate **underwriting data, reports, and MIS** on a regular basis.
- Ensure smooth workflow between underwriting, sales, and processing teams.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering,** **Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, or Business Administration**.
- **1-4 years** of experience in underwriting, insurance operations, or claims.
- Knowledge of **Motor, Health, and General Insurance** products.
- Proficiency in **MS Office / Excel** and experience using **CRM or ERP tools (like Odoo)**.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
