**Roles and Responsibilities1. Laboratory Support**
- **Sample Preparation**: Assist in preparing samples for analysis or experimentation.
- **Instrument Handling**: Learn to operate basic lab equipment such as spectrophotometers, balances, pH meters, and centrifuges under supervision.
- **Reagent Preparation**: Accurately prepare chemical solutions and reagents as per standard procedures.
- **Inventory Management**: Help in maintaining lab inventory by keeping track of chemicals, glassware, and equipment.

**2. Conducting Experiments**
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to perform experiments.
- Record observations meticulously and ensure all data is accurate.
- Assist senior scientists or lab technicians in ongoing research or quality control activities.

**3. Documentation and Reporting**
- Maintain proper records of experiments, observations, and results in lab notebooks or electronic systems.
- Prepare preliminary reports or summaries for review by supervisors.

**4. Compliance and Safety**
- Adhere to all laboratory safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in safety training sessions and ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Assist in keeping the laboratory clean, organized, and free from hazards.

**5. Learning and Development**
- Gain familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory requirements relevant to the field.
- Stay updated with new techniques, instruments, and protocols through training and self-study.
- Observe and learn from senior staff to build technical expertise.

**6. Quality Control and Assurance**
- Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, intermediates, or final products (if in a quality control role).
- Help calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure reliability.

**7. Collaboration and Communication**
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to share findings or seek guidance.
