Description
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations, including oral health assessments, dental X-rays, and evaluations of teeth, gums, and surrounding tissues.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions and diseases, such as cavities, gum disease, tooth decay, and oral infections, using evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Perform routine dental procedures, including dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and dental prosthetic fittings, with precision and care.
- Educate patients about proper oral hygiene practices, preventive dental care, and dietary habits that promote dental health and prevent dental problems.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs, treatment goals, and preferences, and discuss treatment options and recommendations with patients.
- Provide cosmetic dentistry services, such as teeth whitening, dental veneers, and cosmetic bonding, to enhance patients' smiles and improve their self-confidence.
- Administer local anesthesia and sedation as needed to ensure patient comfort and manage pain during dental procedures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other members of the dental team to coordinate patient care, optimize workflow, and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment notes, and billing information in compliance with regulatory requirements and practice policies.
