Welder (Qualified)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, Arc, Gas, Flux Core, etc.) on ship structures and components.
- Read and interpret shipbuilding blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair steel/aluminum structures as per shipyard standards.
- Ensure weld quality meets class society requirements (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register, etc.).
- Conduct welding in confined spaces, onboard vessels, and offshore sites when required.
- Follow safety procedures, including fire prevention, PPE compliance, and safe use of tools.

**Qualifications / Skills**:

- ITI / Diploma in Welding or equivalent technical certification.
- Certified in **3G, 4G, 6G welding** (SMAW, FCAW, GTAW preferred).
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or heavy fabrication industry.
- Knowledge of welding codes and standards (AWS D1.1, ASME, ISO).
- Ability to work in challenging shipyard environments (confined spaces, heights, humid/damp conditions).

**Preferred**:

- Previous work experience in shipyards (India / Gulf / Singapore / Europe).
- Valid **Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ)** or **Class Society Certification**.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
