JD for the Automation QA Position Responsibilities: ? Deep understanding of the functionality of Projects he/she works on (keeping a very limited dependence on BA) ? Good understanding of various automation frameworks ? Design Review and evaluating the test strategy for the project building risk mitigation plans shifting priorities between tasks and planning E2E Automated QA Plan for entire project. ? Involved in implementation and execution of Sprint level test E2E test regression and acceptance tests using automation ? Strongly collaborating Software Developers and POD/ Product Owners/ Scrum Masters etc to develop solutions in an Agile / Dev ops - delivery life cycle. ? Responsible for Communicating with business Dev Architects Business and PMO team for regular query /Clarification ? Designing and executing Automation Strategy and Scripts for Sprint level testing (Proactive automation ) and Integration / System test. ? Work closely with Technical resources architect and SM/Pod Owner within the project team. ? Should be able to work in small project teams independent of the QA lead ? Most importantly ? resource should have experience of continuously building and running automation within each sprint to test all components / user stories delivered in each build (Proactive automation script without Dev Code availability) and should be performing Integration and System tests completely with the help of automation scripts Requirements: ? Previous experience as a test automation engineer/Sr. Engineer. ? Experience in developing automation scripts using Selenium(Essentially) with Cucumber Katalon (optional) or Robot Frameworks(optional) ? Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python. ? Experience with automation testing for Work fusion based projects ? Experience of Sprint automation approaches that do not have any dependence on dev code /screens to start scripting ? Understanding of test-driven development ? Clear Understanding of pure agile Scrum dev ops software development lifecycles ? Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices & methodologies ? Knowledge of various defect management systems (Jira ? Essential). Having Coding standards knowledge
