**Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching and Instruction**:

- Plan and deliver engaging, clear, and structured lessons that help students understand key concepts in Social Studies.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methods (lectures, discussions, multimedia presentations, group activities) to keep lessons engaging and accessible to all students.
- Help students build critical thinking and analytical skills, encouraging them to question and analyze historical events, societal structures, and economic systems.
- **Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning**:

- Develop and update lesson plans that align with the curriculum and ensure academic standards are met.
- Design, prepare, and implement instructional materials like worksheets, quizzes, and assignments that complement the curriculum.
- Modify lesson plans to suit the needs of diverse learners, providing additional support where necessary.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and conduct assessments, including assignments, quizzes, projects, and exams, to evaluate students’ understanding of Social Studies concepts.
- Grade students' work and provide constructive feedback to help them improve academically.
- Prepare students for board exams and provide guidance on effective exam preparation strategies.
- Track students' academic progress and identify areas for improvement, offering additional support to struggling students.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a disciplined, focused, and positive classroom environment that encourages active participation and respect.
- Encourage collaborative learning and ensure that all students feel heard and respected during classroom discussions.
- Manage student behavior using appropriate strategies to maintain order and a productive learning environment.
- **Student Development and Mentorship**:

- Provide guidance on academic goals, study skills, and career options in fields related to Social Studies (e.g., law, journalism, government, economics, and education).
- Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities related to Social Studies, such as debates, model United Nations (MUN), or history clubs.
- Offer mentoring and one-on-one guidance to students who need extra help in understanding course material or managing academic stress.
- **Parent-Teacher Communication**:

- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Hold parent-teacher meetings to discuss academic performance, areas for improvement, and strategies for student success.
- Provide insights into student development and work closely with parents to support students' overall growth.
- **Co-Curricular Activities**:

- Organize and participate in educational trips, field visits, or workshops related to Social Studies.
- Promote and guide students in participating in Social Studies-related activities like quizzes, essay competitions, and public speaking events.
- Encourage students to engage with current events and societal issues through news articles, documentaries, or debates.
- **Professional Development**:

- Continuously improve teaching techniques by attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
- Stay updated on recent developments in Social Studies education, new teaching tools, and relevant societal trends.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the curriculum and improve teaching strategies.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
