Loading programs into CNC machines
- Entering initial settings (e.g. selecting parameters, positioning material and zeroing the machine)
- Loading workpieces into the machine
- Monitoring machining operations
- Intervening in the event of malfunctions, breakdowns and machining errors

A CNC Programmer Setter Operator is responsible for **operating the CNC machine and analyzing the processes and adjusting as required**3. They are also responsible for **reporting to manager regarding tooling and material requirements**3. Completing work logs and time management is also part of their job
