**Job Title**: Junior Interior Designer

The Junior Interior Designer assists the design team in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for residential, commercial, or public projects. This role involves collaborating with senior designers, preparing design concepts, selecting materials, and supporting project execution. The Junior Interior Designer is expected to contribute innovative ideas, maintain organized documentation, and ensure design consistency across all projects.

Location: Kandivali

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design Assistance**: Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations under the guidance of senior interior designers.
- **Space Planning**: Create floor plans, furniture layouts, and space planning solutions using design software to maximize functionality and aesthetics.
- **Material Selection**: Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that align with the design concept and client preferences.
- **Drafting and Documentation**: Prepare detailed drawings, elevations, and 3D renderings using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit for client presentations and project execution.
- **Project Coordination**: Support project coordination activities, including communicating with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
- **Site Visits**: Conduct site visits to take measurements, monitor project progress, and ensure that construction or installation aligns with the design specifications.
- **Client Interaction**: Assist in client meetings by presenting design ideas, gathering feedback, and making necessary adjustments to meet client expectations.
- **Trend Research**: Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies to contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions to projects.
- **Documentation and Record Keeping**: Maintain organized project files, design documentation, and material libraries for efficient project management and future reference.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other designers, architects, and project managers to ensure cohesive design solutions and successful project outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, and materials.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and projects.

**Experience**:

- Interior design: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
