**Job Title: Data Entry Operator (DEO)**

**Overview**:
As a Data Entry Operator (DEO), you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date information within our organization's databases and systems. Your primary responsibility will be to input, update, and manage various types of data efficiently and accurately. Attention to detail, speed, and proficiency in data entry software are essential for success in this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Entry**: Inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate records and data in our databases and systems.
- **Quality Assurance**: Reviewing data for errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies and correcting them promptly to ensure data integrity.
- **Database Management**: Organizing and managing data files and documents in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
- **Reporting**: Generating reports, summaries, and other documentation as required by management or other team members.
- **Data Verification**: Verifying the accuracy and completeness of data entries to ensure information reliability.
- **Confidentiality**: Maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive information and adhering to data protection policies and regulations.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in data entry software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Basic understanding of data confidentiality principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or relevant field is a plus.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office-based environment with standard working hours.
- May require prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Occasional overtime may be necessary to meet project deadlines or handle workload peaks.
