Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferable Computer Science
7+ years in an Operations Support role for an Enterprise larger than 300 servers (hands-on Operations Support experience)
7-10 years experience in SCCM
PowerShell experience desirable
Excellent working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Operating Systems (Servers)
Highly motivated and have the ability to work in a highly demanding, challenging and fast-moving work environment
Able to manage and troubleshoot SCCM deployments and systems
Good Knowledge of Virtulization and Physical Infrastructure.
Must be available to work a non-standard schedule in order to fulfill assigned duties and responsibilities and respond to technical emergencies outside of working hours as needed
Self motivated and able to take responsibility
Able to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently

Responsibilities for SCCM administrator

Role requires 24x7 support with shifts during night and weekends.
Infrastructure knowledge, how to setup\deploy\troubleshoot MP\DP servers
Resolve Agent deployment issues
Monthly deployment of security patches to Windows Servers
Will be expected to manage projects within the SCCM team - this may include delegating tasks to team members, providing metrics and reporting to customers, and attending meetings with outside groups.
Provide monthly reporting of patching activity
Knowledge of MSI packaging tools
Maintain the health of the SCCM environment including clients, servers and distribution points
Provide technical guidance to SCCM team and customer
Assist in the creation\updating of SCCM documentation
Operating System (OSD) and Software patch deployment. Creation and management of SCCM Reports
Roll-out patches and software
Leads and plans upgrades, changes, or implementations for System Center Configuration Manager Components while following established change control procedures
Good working knowledge of SQL reporting
Responsible for coordinating and implementing Configuration management for the project and/or organization maintaining the resulting product throughout its lifecycle
PowerShell experience desirable
Under general supervision, able to use SCCM add systems to collections, create update packages for Microsoft security bulletins/hot fixes and create packages for 3rd party software
Work with key platform vendors (Microsoft) for support to resolve issues platform strategy development
Provides tactical troubleshooting of systems problems with support of senior technicians
Assess existing SCCM infrastructure to provide recommendations, and research and integrate new technologies or upgrades that will improve the overall quality of service while reducing total cost of ownership
Participates in planning and execution of new systems implementation/ deployment

Able to manage responsibilities and team objectives
Ensure timely deployment of software updates, critical patches, and out-of-band releases
Provide support and in-depth troubleshooting to any and all issues related to the SCCM infrastructure or functionality
Mentor and train SCCM administrators
Following strict change, incident, request and problem management guidelines
Perform the collection, analysis, and reporting of operation data to maintain compliance to developed standards
Work collaboratively with others and provide quality customer service in a diverse and inclusive environment

Possess and maintain knowledge of current hardware and software system capabilities and limitations.
Stay informed about the current state of and future advances in computer hardware and software
Resilient to cope with conflicting demands and able to prioritize duties and work under pressure
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility including shift and out of hours working
