Veterinary Helper

**Job Purpose**:
To assist veterinarians in the care and treatment of animals, support day-to-day operations of the veterinary clinic or field unit, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist veterinarians during clinical procedures, surgeries, and animal examinations.
- Restrain animals safely and humanely during treatment or diagnostic procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and work areas.
- Clean and disinfect animal cages, examination tables, and workspaces.
- Administer prescribed medications, feeds, and fluids as directed.
- Monitor animal behavior and report any unusual signs to the veterinarian.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, supplies used, and animal status.
- Help in transporting animals, feed, samples, and veterinary supplies as needed.
- Ensure waste is disposed of safely and according to clinic protocols.
- Assist in stock management and reordering of medical or surgical supplies.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum: Matriculation (10th pass); higher secondary or vocational training in animal handling preferred.
- Experience in animal care, veterinary assistance, or livestock handling is desirable.
- Basic understanding of animal behavior and safety practices.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
