**Desired Knowledge and skills**:

- Experience of working as an accountant
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices, including Indian and foreign accounting standards
- Work experience in Accounting & CRM software and MS Office suite. Knowledge of Tally is a must
- Familiarity with tax laws and regulations, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax
- Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices, regulations, and market dynamics

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable regularly to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring proper classification and documentation of transactions
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial data and analysis
- Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, TDS, and income tax returns, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliation of accounts
