**Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector**

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Overview**: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to the Strato Team in India. The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that Strato products manufactured at our vendor’s facility meet Strato’s quality standards before they are shipped to the United States. The primary focus of this role will be on conducting thorough pre-shipment inspections, documenting findings to maintain our commitment to excellence, and assisting the Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) on site.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Perform detailed inspections of finished products according to established quality criteria and standards.
- Utilize measuring instruments, gauges, and other tools to verify dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify defects in appearance, finish, or function.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain inspection records and reports.
- Identify non-conforming products and work with the supplier to resolve issues promptly.
- Work with the SQE to audit and evaluate the production process and recommend improvements to processes or procedures to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Communicate with Strato’s engineering, quality, and supply chain teams in the US to address quality-related concerns.
- Participate in AAR quality and technical audits and assist in implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in any other projects and tasks assigned by management.

**Qualifications**:

- Educational background: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferable.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or similar role in manufacturing or production environments. Preferably from the **steel foundry industry**.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, magnetic particle inspection, and hardness measurement devices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, inspection instructions, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective **English** communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 85 pounds (38.6 kg).

Pay: ₹416,000.00 - ₹586,085.00 per year
