JD for Oracle DBA: â?¢ Design develop implement and maintain our core Oracle database. â?¢ Ensure DB availability Proactively manage and maintain security standards and controls â?¢ Actively seek to optimize and simplify our architecture â?¢ Take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB Execution of data migration jobs and scripts as required â?¢ Assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware used for the DB Support and collaborate with product developers â?¢ Understanding and expert knowledge in OEM working of ILOM ODA_BASE. Query tuning for optimal performance. Troubleshooting knowledge on query for degraded performance. Ability to provide recommendations to Client for faster execution of queries/SPs. â?¢ Contribute to the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans Create a reliable backup strategy â?¢ Ensure database backups are appropriately executed and periodic restorations are exercised to ensure backup quality â?¢ Determine and document DB policies procedures and standards â?¢ Performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security privacy and integrity Identification of bottle necks and deadlock issues â?¢ Ensure SLA s operational KPI s are met working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur Competencies â?¢ Ideally Oracle Certified DB Professional OCP with more than 5 yearsâ?? experience with Oracle preferably in a lead role â?¢ Experience should include DB design modelling and normalization capacity planning performance tuning storage management backup and recovery managing schemas report generation and DB clustering technologies â?¢ Operating system experience in Linux Oracle management tools Data Guard RMAN Data pump Partitioning Architecture design principles â?¢ Good problem solver focused and dedicated developer with ability to work on your own as well as with a team Hands on experience with DB standards and end user applications translating capacity requirements into infrastructure deployment technology â?¢ Strong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC ASM Latest environments. â?¢ Must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail Experience with an Organisation with a key reliance on 24x7 reliability on its database. â?¢ Hands on experience in Performance tuning & Backup and recovery Having Development experience together with CORE DBA will be added advantage. â?¢ Expert in database PSU and CPU patching and planning â?¢ Ready to work in 24*7 shifts and on call. â?¢ Good communication skill JD MSSQL DBA : â?¢ Relevant experience depending on the grade on MSSQL DBA in production support. â?¢ Working experience on High availabilities like Clustering Database mirroring and Replications AlwaysOn. â?¢ SQL Azure Database â?¢ Worked on installation upgradation and migration activities. â?¢ Worked on supporting large customers on 24/7 â?? 365 days support model. â?¢ Knowledge on performance monitoring and tuning backup and recovery database sizing. â?¢ Experience on TSQL DTS SSIS and stored procedures. â?¢ Good Communication and documentation skill. â?¢ Experience on SQL patching and securities â?¢ Worked as production DBA support in MS SQL Server 2000 2005 & 2008 + 2012 and 2016 â?¢ Working experience on clustering database Mirroring Replication and Log shipping. â?¢ Experience on Installation upgradation migration and deployment. â?¢ Knowledge on Reporting services and analysis services is a plus. â?¢ Certification on MSSQL Database Administration is a plus. â?¢ Experience on performance tuning a database to provide a high availability services. â?¢ Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database project. â?¢ Knowledge on SQL queries statements and scripts. â?¢ This position requires a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in SQL Server production DBA support.
