**Cyber Security Intern**
Location **:Gurugram**

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with developers and the cybersecurity team to design, develop, and optimize SIEM and SOAR tools. - Assist in analysing tools like Splunk, Datadog, and other security platforms. - Participate in the identification, analysis, and remediation of security threats, including both common and advanced attack vectors. - Support the integration and configuration of third party security tools ensuring seamless data flow and accurate threat detection. - Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to improve our product’s efficiency. - Help document security incidents, findings, and the effectiveness of security measures provided by our tool. Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and attack vectors. - Familiarity with SIEM and SOAR tools, Splunk and Datadog would be more preferable. - Knowledge of how cybersecurity attacks are identified and mitigated. - Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security automation is a plus. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of network protocols, architecture, and security best practices. - Experience with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and their security features. - Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). - Relevant certifications or coursework (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Splunk Certified User, CEH).

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 6 months
