Key Responsibilities:

- **Medication Administration**:Accurately administering prescribed medications according to established protocols and monitoring for any adverse reactions.
- **Documentation**:Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication administration, vital signs, assessments, and any changes in patient condition.
- **Patient and Family Education**:Providing information about medications, treatments, disease management, and preventative care to patients and their families.
- **Collaboration**:Working closely with physicians, other nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- **Supervision**:May supervise and guide junior nurses, nursing students, and other healthcare staff.
- **Emergency Response**:Responding to emergency situations, providing immediate care, and assisting with patient stabilization.
- **Maintaining a Safe Environment**:Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, including proper infection control practices.
- **Advocacy**:Advocating for patients' needs and ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.
