**Roles and responsibilities -**

We are seeking a Cloud Security Architect to join our practice, to respond to strong demand-led growth. The core responsibilities of this role includes:
Overseeing and assessing identity and access management maturity and capabilities / performing gap assessments against industry good practices;
Overseeing and leading delivery of cloud strategy and cloud implementation engagements

Coaching others and encouraging them to take ownership of their development, being responsible for their career development

Overseeing and leading vendor interactions, proposition development, accelerator development etc

Analysing complex ideas or proposals and building a range of meaningful recommendations.

Executing benchmarks using tools and reporting outcomes against industry standards;
Supporting and leading propositions and our go to market plans, and owning your Subject Matter Expertise on behalf of the firm, our clients and the industry;
Overseeing preparation of materials (reports, presentations, spreadsheets, etc.) to help enable informed decision making;
Overseeing the development, review, ongoing maintenance and development of Cloud integrations, build, policies, standards, processes, procedures and requirements; and

Facilitation of meetings, walkthroughs to document understanding of current processes.

**Required Skill Set -**

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in:
Requirements analysis, strategy, design, implementation, and migration for businesses

Design and implementation of secure cloud environments

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in one or more of the following areas:
Utilising cloud solutions (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and of their design and implementation into projects

Utilising foundational computer science skills such as Java, Python, OOP concepts, Computer Networking, SDLC, operating systems fundamentals (Windows, Unix, Linux)

Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of large and complex data

Leveraging creative thinking and problem solving skills, individual initiative, and utilizing Google Docs and MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Identifying and addressing client needs: building relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor

Understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback

Communicating in an organised and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts

Independently managing and prioritising workload;
Creating a positive working environment by monitoring and managing workloads of the team - balancing client expectations with the work-life quality of team members;
Keeping leadership and engagement management informed of progress and issues; and

Ability to adapt to and communicate with different working styles.

**Certification(s) Preferred**:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), AWS Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)

**Preferred Knowledge/Skills**:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success managing client engagements relating to the creation of business processes and solutions enabled by identity and access management, including the following:
Requirements analysis, strategy, design, implementation, and migration for businesses; and,

Supervision and development of staff on multiple projects, business development, and communications with executives.

Demonstrates extensive understanding of cloud security concepts such as the various cloud deployment and service models, SASE and zero-trust. Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success utilizing the following when managing and producing deliverables for client engagements related to managing successful enterprise scale implementations within Information Security, including:
Utilizing the various Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and design and implementation of their solutions;
Utilizing the various deployment sub-types (private, public, hybrid and mutlicloud) and service models (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS and FaaS)
