Lecturer in Mathematics

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Department (HOD) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Mathematics. The HOD and PGT Mathematics will be responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, and academic excellence in the Mathematics department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education in line with CBSE curriculum standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development and Implementation**:

- Develop and review the Mathematics curriculum in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
- Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum across all classes.
- Introduce innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- **Leadership and Management**:

- Lead and manage the Mathematics department effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to Mathematics faculty members.
- Conduct regular meetings and workshops to foster collaboration and professional development among staff.
- **Academic Excellence**:

- Monitor and evaluate the academic progress of students in Mathematics.
- Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate interventions.
- Ensure that teaching strategies are adapted to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Analyze assessment data to inform instructional practices and curriculum development.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning goals.
- **Parent and Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and performance in Mathematics.
- Organize parent-teacher meetings and other events to foster positive relationships with parents.
- Collaborate with other departments and school leadership to promote the overall mission and goals of the institution.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with the latest developments in Mathematics education and teaching methodologies.
- Provide professional development opportunities for Mathematics faculty members.
- Encourage continuous learning and growth among staff.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Master's degree or equivalent in Mathematics.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Experience in a leadership role or as an HOD will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum standards and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of educators.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software for teaching and learning.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
