Strategize to maximize the impact of projects **Position: Project Coordinator** **Location: Hardoi (Sandila), Uttar Pradesh** **Commitment: Full time** **Last day to send the resume: 20th September 2024** **About MelJol** MelJol is a registered NGO that focuses on life skills education with focus on social and financial inclusion of the disadvantaged children and youth. Ms. Jeroo Billimoria, a social entrepreneur, is the founder of MelJol, Ms. Jeroo has also founded Childline, a free helpline service for children in distress. In the last 3 years, MelJol has reached out to around 300,000 children and youth, 200,000 children & youth developed habits of informal & institutional savings. **Major Areas of Responsibility**: - Project planning and management - Project team management - Prepare annual, quarterly report for the program implementation - Supervise and guide the work of the facilitator - regular meetings, mentoring etc. - Meet deadlines of the project - Plan and execute events, campaigns, exposure visits, etc. - Conduct regular and timely field visits for planning and executing the project - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns - Training and capacity building of project team and stakeholders - Maintain the admin records and accounts of the project - Tracking budget utilization in tune with the planned activities - Managing and compiling project and program data - Represent the Meljol at various forum as necessary - Providing project feed for social media **Personal Specifications**: Meljol is seeking an ambitious, energetic, determined, and strong proficiency in English. We are looking for someone with a "Community Engagement Mindset," as the role involves working on a social initiative with communities in the Hardoi District, Sandila, Uttar Pradesh. Expected Education: MA/MSW/any other master’s degree with an inclination to work in the development sector. **Salary**: 240,000 to 300000 p.a. LGBTQ+ community members can also apply.
