**QA Lead (5-8 years)**

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Quality Assurance Leadership**

a. Lead and manage QA efforts across projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

b. Define and implement QA processes, strategies, and best practices.

**2. eCommerce Application Testing**

b. Identify and log defects across defect life-cycle to ensure a seamless user experience.

**3. Test Management**

a. Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.

b. Prioritize testing efforts based on project timelines and business requirements.

**4. Team Collaboration and Mentorship**

a. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify quality goals.

b. Mentor and guide junior QA team members to ensure skill development and performance excellence.

**5. Automation and Continuous Improvement**

a. Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts.

b. Continuously improve QA processes and tools to adapt to evolving business needs.

**Required Qualifications**
- **Experience**:

- 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and debugging.
- Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Test management in an Agile Development model using tools like JIRA
- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and tools.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
- Exposure to security testing, penetration testing and compliance standards
