**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and services required for manufacturing operations.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and finance to ensure efficient procurement processes.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding delivery, quality, or pricing.
- Stay updated on industry developments and technological advancements relevant to procurement processes.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B. Tech) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with SAP/ERP software will be an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in procurement processes.
