Security Guard

**Position Overview**:
As a Security Guard at our goods warehouse facility, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the premises, ensuring the security of goods, and maintaining a safe environment for employees and visitors. You will be responsible for monitoring incoming and outgoing shipments, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to any security concerns or emergencies.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Surveillance and Monitoring**:

- Conduct regular patrols of the warehouse premises to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to any suspicious activity.
- Maintain awareness of inventory movements, ensuring compliance with established procedures.

2. **Access Control**:

- Control access to the warehouse facility by verifying credentials and issuing visitor badges as necessary.
- Monitor entry and exit points, ensuring that only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed on the premises.
- Enforce security protocols regarding the handling and storage of goods.

3. **Cargo Inspection**:

- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify their contents and ensure compliance with shipping documents.
- Conduct thorough checks for any signs of tampering, damage, or irregularities in packaging.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to address discrepancies or issues related to cargo integrity.

4. **Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies such as fire, theft, or medical situations.
- Take appropriate action to contain and resolve security threats, including contacting law enforcement or emergency services if necessary.
- Implement emergency protocols to ensure the safety of personnel and property.

5. **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, including incident reports, patrol logs, and inventory inspections.
- Document any security breaches, thefts, or damages, and assist in investigations as required.
- Provide regular reports to management regarding security status and compliance issues.

6. **Customer Service**:

- Provide courteous and professional assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors entering the premises.
- Address inquiries and concerns regarding security procedures or access requirements.
- Serve as a representative of the company, promoting a positive and secure environment for all stakeholders.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Proven experience as a security guard or related role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Knowledge of security protocols, surveillance techniques, and emergency response procedures.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to detect and respond to potential security threats.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform patrol duties and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using surveillance equipment, access control systems, and computer software for documentation and reporting.

Pay: ₹9,671.38 - ₹26,997.96 per month
