Job Summary: As an Australian Bookkeeping & Taxation Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals and businesses with their bookkeeping and taxation needs according to Australian regulations. You will ensure accurate financial records are maintained, and tax obligations are fulfilled. Your expertise in Australian accounting principles, tax laws, and software tools will be essential to provide comprehensive bookkeeping and taxation services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Bookkeeping:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients using accounting software.
- Record financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

2. Taxation:

- Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
- Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Identify tax deductions, credits, and exemptions to minimize tax liabilities.
- Provide tax planning advice to clients to optimize their tax positions.
- Handle tax-related queries, correspondence, and audits from tax authorities.
- Stay updated with changes in Australian tax laws and communicate relevant updates to clients.

3. Financial Analysis and Advisory:

- Analyze financial statements and reports to provide insights and recommendations.
- Assist clients in interpreting financial data and making informed business decisions.
- Offer guidance on financial best practices, cost-saving strategies, and cash flow management.
- Collaborate with clients' accountants, auditors, and financial advisors to address financial matters.

4. Compliance and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions, tax documents, and supporting information.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other compliance-related reports.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to identify and rectify potential compliance issues.

5. Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and objectives.
- Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Offer guidance on financial processes, recordkeeping, and software tools to improve client efficiency.
- Stay proactive in anticipating client needs and suggesting value-added services.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of Australian accounting principles, taxation laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A high level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
- Prior experience in bookkeeping and taxation, preferably in an Australian context, is highly desirable.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
