**Position: Sample Tailor master and Cutting Master**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Ø **Sample Creation**:

- Construct high-quality garment samples based on patterns and design specifications.
- Accurately interpret patterns and technical packs, making necessary adjustments for perfect fit and style.
- Utilize various sewing techniques and equipment to assemble sample garments.

Ø **Fabric Laying and Cutting**:

- Lay out fabrics on cutting tables with precision, ensuring alignment and minimizing waste.
- Cut fabric pieces accurately according to patterns using cutting machines or manual tools.
- Ensure all cut pieces meet quality standards and specifications before proceeding to sewing.

Ø **Quality Control**:

- Inspect finished samples and cut pieces for defects, ensuring adherence to design and
- quality standards.
- Conduct final checks on samples and bulk production cuts to maintain high-quality output.

Ø **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with designers, pattern makers, and the production team to resolve any issues or changes during the sample creation and cutting processes.
- Provide feedback on patterns, designs, and materials to enhance future samples and production efficiency.

Ø **Team Coordination and Training**:

- Supervise and train junior staff in sample making and fabric cutting techniques.
- Coordinate with the Designing and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion.

Ø **Inventory and Safety Management**
- Monitor and manage fabric inventory, ensuring sufficient supplies for sample and bulk production.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized working area.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in both sample tailoring and fabric cutting within a garment manufacturing unit.
- Strong expertise in garment construction, sewing techniques, and fabric handling.
- Proficient in using cutting machines and manual cutting tools.
- Excellent ability to interpret and adjust patterns for optimal fit and design.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and coordinate effectively with various departments.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure and meeting deadlines.
