**Job Overview**:
As a Purchase Officer in our chemical manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process for raw materials, equipment, and services essential to our operations. Your responsibilities will include identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. The goal is to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supplier Identification and Management**:

- Research and identify potential suppliers for raw materials, chemicals, equipment, and services.
- Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and compliance with industry standards.
- **Negotiation and Contract Management**:

- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements in terms of pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- **Purchase Planning**:

- Collaborate with relevant departments to understand material and equipment requirements.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure a stable supply chain.
- **Order Processing and Tracking**:

- Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that purchased materials meet the required standards and specifications.
- **Cost Management**:

- Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or reliability.
- Regularly analyze market trends and prices to make informed purchasing decisions.
- **Vendor Relationship Management**:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and consistent supply of materials.
- Address any performance issues with vendors and work towards resolution.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Officer or in a similar procurement role within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of chemical products, raw materials, and industry suppliers.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement.
- Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
