A VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining computer-controlled machinery to create precision metal parts and components. Their primary duties include:

- Machine Setup: Setting up the VMC according to blueprints, technical drawings, or job specifications. This involves loading the necessary tools, securing the workpiece, and configuring the machine's parameters such as speed, feed rate, and tool paths.
- Programming: Writing or inputting computer numerical control (CNC) programs into the VMC's control unit. This may involve using CAD/CAM software to generate tool paths and ensure accurate machining processes.
- Operation: Running the VMC to execute the programmed operations. This includes monitoring the machine's performance, adjusting settings as needed, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the machined parts.
- Inspection: Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This may involve using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks on the VMC to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts as necessary.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions that arise during the machining process. This requires a good understanding of the machine's mechanics and the ability to diagnose problems efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following machine-specific safety guidelines.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
