Responsible for receipt of different packs and their recording in appropriate register.
- Receiving solid instruments and equipment and cleaning them according to established protocols.
- Sterilizing instruments equipment using various methods, such as autoclaving, chemical disinfection, or ultrasonic cleaning.
- Packaging and storing sterilized instruments and equipment to maintain their sterility. Autoclave according to laid down protocol and dispatch to respective departments/sections.
- Monitoring sterilization processes & performing quality control checks.
- Managing inventory, following safety protocols, Complying with regulations.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure that instruments and equipment are available and ready for use & communicating effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any issues or concerns.
- Ensure that items dispatched are handed over against signature
- Maintain a Clean, tidy and safe work area at all times
- Maintain the machines in good and working condition.
- Carry out preventive maintenance schedules as below:

- Checks on Electrical connections on a weekly basis
- Checks for leaks and sulphating extent on a weekly basis
- General maintenance as per manufacturers directives on a quarterly basis
- Change all gaskets every quarter
- Liaison with Maintenance, Bio-medical Engineering and Materials Departments for equipment upkeep.
- Follow the Departmental Protocols / Procedures
- Liaise with theatre staff and CSSD staff to ensure equipment is processed in a timely manner.
- Ensure there is appropriate handover communication at each change of shift
- Ensure accuracy of quality control standards / control processes is in compliance and relative to infection
- control standards
- Identify unsafe practice and respond appropriately to ensure safe outcome
- Responsible for addressing and resolving errors within your area
- Any other job assigned by superiors as per exigencies of work.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
