**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the team in analysing road safety data, including accident reports, traffic flow patterns, and road infrastructure characteristics.
- Decoding of 1000+ road crash-related FIRs by extracting critical data points and analysing the decoded FIR data for providing recommendations to various Government stakeholders.
- Assist the team in conducting site assessments and field surveys to identify potential hazards and safety concerns on highways.
- Support the team in the development and implementation of engineering solutions to address identified safety issues, such as road signage, traffic signals, road markings, and pedestrian crossings.
- Assist the team in the preparation of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for road safety improvement projects.
- Conduct research on best practices and emerging technologies in the field of road safety engineering.
- Assist the team in evaluating the effectiveness of implemented safety measures through data analysis and performance monitoring.
- Assist the team in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Post-graduation students in their 3rd/4th semester pursuing a degree in Civil/Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or Urban/Transportation Planning or Economics and other related fields.
- Basic research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in handling google workspace like google sheets, google docs, google slides and other relevant software.
