**Designation / Position**: Safety Officer

**Responsibilities**:
1. Implement Project Safety Plans
2. Support the development of OHS policies and programs
3. Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
4. Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
5. Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
6. Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives
7. Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
8. Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
9. Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
10. Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
11. Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.

**Key Skills**: Industrial construction safety, safety documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements

**Requirements**:
*Strong knowledge of industrial construction safety standards and regulations
- Experience in site inspections, hazard identification, and incident investigation
- Familiarity with safety documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Ability to conduct training sessions and communicate safety protocols effectively
- Expertise in PPE usage, worksite risk assessments, and emergency response planning
