**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales and Revenue Generation**:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and generate sales for the resort’s banquet and event spaces.
- Identify potential clients through networking, cold calling, and lead generation, focusing on corporate, social, and wedding events.
- Manage and follow up on inquiries, converting them into successful bookings.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and packages that drive event bookings.
- **Client Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and event planners.
- Conduct site visits for potential clients, providing them with information about the venue, available services, and customized packages.
- Understand client requirements and preferences, offering tailored solutions to ensure their expectations are met.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the event planning process, from initial contact to post-event follow-up.
- **Event Coordination and Planning**:
- Collaborate with the operations and catering teams to plan and execute successful events, ensuring all client needs are met.
- Oversee event logistics, including room setup, audio-visual equipment, catering, and staffing.
- Ensure all aspects of the event are executed to the highest standards, with attention to detail on timings, guest experience, and customer satisfaction.
- **Contract and Proposal Management**:
- Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and event plans, outlining the services, costs, and terms of booking.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring profitability for the resort while meeting client expectations.
- Review and finalize all event documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with resort policies.
- **Collaboration with Internal Teams**:
- Work closely with the culinary team to create menu options that align with client needs and event type.
- Coordinate with the operations and event management team to ensure smooth execution of events on the day.
- Maintain open communication with the front office, housekeeping, and other resort departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- **Market Research and Competitor Analysis**:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to keep the resort’s banquet offerings competitive.
- Analyze sales performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and refine sales strategies.
- **Budget and Financial Management**:
- Ensure that all event budgets are met, and expenses are kept within client and resort-approved limits.
- Track and report on event revenue, identifying opportunities for upselling additional services or add-ons.
- **Event Execution Support**:
- Attend events to ensure they are running smoothly, resolving any last-minute issues, and maintaining high service standards.
- Provide on-site assistance during key events, working closely with the event team to manage guest expectations.
**Required Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in banquet or event sales, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
- **Skills**:
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
