store auditor is responsible for verifying the accuracy of a retail store's inventory, sales transactions, and overall financial records by conducting physical audits, reviewing paperwork, and analyzing data to identify discrepancies, potential fraud, and areas for improvement in store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities of a store auditor: Inventory audits: Performing physical counts of merchandise to compare against system records. Identifying discrepancies in stock levels and investigating causes. Checking for damaged or expired products. Analyzing inventory turnover rates and identifying slow-moving items. Sales transaction audits: Reviewing sales receipts and register tapes for accuracy. Checking for voids, returns, and other unusual transactions. Monitoring cash handling procedures and identifying potential cash shortages. Compliance audits: Verifying adherence to company policies regarding pricing, promotions, and product placement. Assessing compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., age verification for certain products). Reporting and analysis: Documenting audit findings and preparing detailed reports for store management. Identifying trends and patterns in discrepancies. Recommending corrective actions to address issues identified during audits. Communication and collaboration: Working closely with store staff to gather information and explain audit procedures. Communicating audit results to store managers and providing support for implementing necessary changes. Required skills for a store auditor: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Proficiency in data analysis and spreadsheet software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of retail operations and accounting principles Education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with additional training in retail auditing preferred Prior experience in retail operations or auditing is beneficial

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
