Graphics Design: Video and Motion

AICL is looking for talented Video & Motion Graphics Designer/s to join our team at both junior as well as mid-level.

Our Video & Motion Graphics Designers do more than just bring graphics to life. Using visual effects and animation techniques they make communication interesting and engaging. They are creative individuals with excellent aesthetic judgement and can create evocative work for a diverse array of media.

Our designers are abreast of advancements in animation as well as new technologies and techniques, contemporary trends in production design work and are skilled with every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable. He/she is responsible for working hand in hand with the design team, aiding with the creation of assets, then bringing them to life and delivering high quality and innovative motion graphic content.

He/she will report to the Creative Director and work alongside the larger creative team.

A successful video & motion designer at AICL possess a sound understanding of branding and marketing, has his/her finger on the pulse of current trends, and is always eager to learn more. They are willing to go the extra mile and can maintain the highest creative standards and a professional approach to time and deadlines.

**Requirements**:
**Roles & responsibilities
- Design and create highly engaging motion graphics for video deliverables (corporate videos, websites, marketing communications, multimedia campaigns, virtual and live events etc.) across a variety of canvases including web, smartphones, televisions etc.
- Owning all the phases of development including conceptualization, storyboarding, animating, and editing.
- Assist in the creation of conceptual layouts and animation storyboards.
- Encoding, converting and editing videos and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
- Working under the guidance and in collaboration with the senior members of the team, execute small to medium scale projects, from conception to delivery by creating original work that is creatively effective and demonstrate fresh thinking.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
- Independently manage own work queue, related tools and proactively engage with other teams when needed.
- Ensure practice of standard design process.
- Ensure a high standard of personal discipline and organizational engagement.

**Key Requirements**
- Compelling portfolio of graphic design work showcasing high-end digital design skills.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to video production design and animation.
- A strong sense of editorial timing and direction.
- Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style.
- Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Visual design and video production tools.
- Good knowledge of Cinema 4D, Premiere, Final Cut Pro and their proper implementation is highly desirable.
- Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Energetic, task-oriented, with strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Quick learner, detail oriented efficient and dependable.
- High sense of urgency and must be able to work well under pressure.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Design school education will be preferred. But irrespective of qualification, portfolio will be considered.
