**Roles and Responsibilities**

This position will be reporting and closely working with the CFO. The post requires not only exceptional accountancy skills but also in-depth business acumen in the financial consultancy or a similar industry. Additionally, it is vital for the post holder to have expertise in advising on the best practice of all sorts of accounting and financial activities.

This role will have the main responsibility for the implementation of company strategy in its finance and accounts and is expected to analyse figures and provide recommendations based on the outcomes.

In the Companys periods of change and growth, this role is critical, coordinating corporate finance and managing company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions as appropriate.

**Group Financial Controls**:

- Taking responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of the accounting and control information held in and reported from the organisations accounting systems;
- Supporting the CFO in developing and delivering the organisations financial and business strategy.

Updating, reviewing, and documenting the organisations financial policies and procedures;
- Ensuring accuracy of financial and related information held in the finance and other systems;
- Improving the systems surrounding all aspects of the organisations budgets, forecasts and business planning;
- Producing the quarterly management accounts and other reports as required for senior management and the CEO.
- Preparing and analysing cash flow statements, income and expenditure accounts and balance sheet accounts.
- Assisting in the production of the draft year end accounts, supporting schedules and liaison with the auditors.

**Financial Management**
- Supervise cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
- Oversee cash, investments, and asset management.
- Explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.
