- **Lead Generation and Conversion**:
- Identify and pursue new sales leads in the field through direct engagement, cold-calling, and networking.
- Convert leads into actual sales by presenting compelling product or service information.
- Follow up with prospective clients to close deals.
- **Customer Relationship Building**:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client needs, addressing issues and resolving complaints.
- **Market Research and Feedback**:
- Gather insights on competitors, market trends, and customer preferences in the field.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams to refine offerings and sales strategies.
- **Sales Reporting**:
- Track sales activities, record data on customer interactions, and report on sales outcomes.
- Prepare daily or weekly reports to monitor progress toward targets.
- **Promotional Activities**:
- Set up and manage product displays at various locations and events.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training for customers, if applicable.
**Key Skills and Qualifications**
- High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (depending on the industry).
- Prior experience in field sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse clients.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Goal-driven, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and mobile sales tools (preferred).
