**SDE 2**:
**Mission for this Role**:
As a SDE 2 you will develop a feature either independently or with the help of others’.

**Outcome**:

- Start contributing to code reviews
- Document (user stories) how to methodically breakdown a feature.
- Learn how to always write tests first before coding the feature
- Learn to work with Product team
- Estimate timelines for simple features
- Showcase fair understanding of ORM, containerization, micro-service concept, automated deployment pipelines etc.

**Competencies**:

- For SDE 2, about 3-5 years of experience is preferred.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in MERN stack
- Can use some sketching tools and express the intention real fast
- Logical thinking + ability to think in frameworks
- Can break complex problems down into simple tasks
- Data Structures and algorithm
- Ability to work with top leadership
- Modesty + humility
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to stay cool and calm in high pressure environments
